Hey everyone, we here at High Level Games are looking at all kind of options and while we are mostly committed to focusing on creating quality podcast content we are also looking at a couple of other projects, some of which I can't talk about quite yet.
However, we are feeling out the initial phase of a small project that may or may not turn into something else.
So what are we doing? We are doing a short document that we will likely put up on a digital download distribution for a price point that is low enough that we can encourage the largest number of downloads. This is going to be a guide/setting product at 20-36 pages that will be able to show everyone how to transform their D&D 5th Edition campaign into a Stone Age setting. The content and writing will be handled in house, but we are looking for help with things like layout and graphic design and original artwork. This will likely include at least one world map, cover art, and a several smaller interior pieces.
How much can we pay? I'll be honest, we don't know. We don't want to be assholes about the process and do what I know devalues artists and creative professionals and offer them no money for "exposure" or whatever, but we don't really have any money for this project (or at least very little) and expect to make no or very little money from it, it is something of a passion project. That being said - we want to be fair, and we want good art. I will say that we are happy to talk, take quotes, and work something out. This is our first kick at the can, bear with us, but chat with us and let's see what we can do!
The best way to contact us? Likely on Twitter or Facebook, or you can use the contact form here. Looking forward to hearing from you!
