Here at HLG, we support small, independent content creators trying to get ahead. And one of the best is PAN, the Pagan Angel Network, a fantastic horror/rpg/being awesome podcast that, if you are a fan of those kinds of genres or games, you should become a fan of them! They are starting a Patreon, and we would love it if you would be able to give them a bit of love!
Don't just take my word for it, listen to the host and founder, Zachary: Hi, I'm Zach, a writer, veteran/survivor of the Hollywood entertainment industry, dogsitter, filthy K-pop stan, and English tutor. I love the horror genre, especially cosmic horror, and I love tabletop RPGs. Since I started my podcast PAN, the Pagan Angel Network, in 2017, it has essentially been an unpaid part-time job for me. I have released 141 episodes across 10 different series, involving talent from all across the country. PAN's episodes have been downloaded a thousand times over the previous month alone. And now, we have launched a Patreon: patreon.com/paganangelnetwork If you are able, please consider pledging your support for a month or longer! Patreon is the best way for artists and creators to get sustainable income and connect with their fans. In these uncertain times, we really need what creators and artists give to the world. Supporting a creator on Patreon is quick and easy: - You can become a supporter of PAN for as little as $3 a month. - Supporters at even the lowest payment tier receive full perks and benefits. - Right now, supporters can access deleted scenes and behind-the scenes development material from the Stygian Viziers and listen to the first episode of our next series a week early. Thank you for considering this way to support me and the tabletop gaming hobby. In episode 7 of the High Level Games podcast we begin by talking about the concept of a "geek off" as a way of playing and then move on to talking about our play through of "Greyhawk Ruins." This module was originally from AD&D and was converted to 3.5e by VP Quinn for our table.
We discuss how the play style differed from our usual games, and what we liked about the module and a few of the issues that we had with it. We also cover ways to help make this module more interesting for your group with ways to add on to the content in the published book. Our podcast is also available on iTunes, and you can get to it and subscribe easily by clicking here. |
